Students work alongside experienced mentors using real tools and materials to complete fencing projects and learn practical construction skills. Through this program, young people gain confidence, teamwork experience, and exposure to career opportunities in the building industry.
This is learning by doing.

Under the guidance of experienced builders, students participate in real project work including:

Basic carpentry
Job-site safety training
Tool handling and construction techniques
Teamwork and project coordination
Our goal is to help train the next generation of tradespeople while giving back to the Strathmore community.
Our Process
1. Consultation
We discuss your fencing needs, property layout, and project goals.
2. Quoting
Our team prepares a clear quote outlining materials, scope, and timeline.
3. Construction
Students work alongside mentors to complete the project safely and professionally.
4. Completion
The finished fence is inspected to ensure quality and durability.
Built With Community Support
The Student Build Project exists thanks to support from local homeowners, businesses, and mentors.
Together we are:
Supporting youth development
Strengthening local trade skills
Building pride in craftsmanship
Creating real opportunities for students
